Since 1997, the BrainVision Analyzer has been used by scientists to manage their analysis of various neurophysiological data. The editable History Tree lets users organize, explore, and trace evaluation steps. Automated analysis with drag-and-drop functions speeds up recurring tasks. Various data format readers recognize files from different EEG manufacturers automatically and allow users to communicate with research labs all over the world. The BrainVision Analyzer includes all necessary preprocessing functions, enhanced time-frequency analysis options, ICA, LORETA, and MRI correction, as well as a direct interface to MATLAB. New views create unlimited output possibilities to publish your results. Programming interfaces in .NET languages can be used to expand functionality.
The product interacts with MATLAB via a COM connection, which is provided as a .NET-COM-Interop-wrapper interface. Data can be transferred from BrainVision Analyzer, processed by MATLAB and its toolboxes, and transferred back into BrainVision Analyzer. The MATLAB interaction is integrated into the automatic batch mechanism.
