Ethan Woodruff, MathWorks
The process from getting an idea down, to implementing it in hardware, can involve many steps. In this webinar we highlight three steps in developing a concept into a real-world, working design:
The example is based on developing a tracking system to point a laser pointer mounted on a small electric motor at a small ball. The webinar will introduce image processing, control design, modeling of state logic, modeling of physical systems, and rapid prototyping on to real hardware.
About the Presenter: Ethan Woodruff joined MathWorks in May 2004. He primarily works with customers in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial industries who want to use MATLAB and Simulink in conjunction with testing of real hardware. Previously, he worked for BAE Systems doing real-time HIL simulation testing for the U.S. Air Force. He has B.A. degrees in physics and applied mathematics from the University of Montana.
